Hi fellow KR forum readers.
I'm now 18 days +. The knee is very stiff and sore. Even after Percocet, icing, lots of "gentle persuasion" from my PT, I'm still at 70 degrees.
I called my pharmacy today to try to get more Percocet with the Labor Day holiday approaching. They faxed my family Dr and his office called to say he was going to stop by my house to review all my med's. Not many Dr make house calls, even fewer initiate the call on their side. He's been our family Dr for over 40 years.
He checked everything over for infection, etc. Gave me a prescription for 100 more Percocet, 60 more Lorazepan (sp?) to try to calm me down during the PT sessions + something called Arthcotec (sp?) that is supposed to help with the pain.
The PT is so painful I can't relax and just let the leg hang free. I switch from home care PT to a clinic next Wed. I hope things start to loosen up and the pain eases up during the next week.
