I hav'nt posted in awhile just saw my OS today he is recommending an MUA, while under he will use the scope to clean up and remove scar tissue from my previous surgeries that he belives is what is preventing me from improving my ROM. Is there anyone out there than can tell me their experience with this and whether or not it was worth it. Did it improve you ROM

Mike

if you do a search here on MUA, you will see MANY people have had great success with them...and most say the recovery was not too bad.

Have not had one myself, but I think you will find many more positive results than not.

Good luck!

Hey Mike, I had an MUA at 7 months, helped some, but may need another in future, I am 14 months and still have some swelling and stiffness (I'm one of the 5%) but at 105 now, so livable, and painfree!! I am probably going to need my other knee replaced soon so may wait 'til then, though I will choose March next year if he thinks I should have it done. Good luck, let us know how it goes. Sue

What they said! I'm sure you'll be lots better for it, Mike.
