Hi Folks , had my Bhr on Nov.3rd, one month has gone by. the Dr. told me
the operation went great (BHR) and after four days I was home. Walking
with a walker and having little pain , so far so good. One week with the walker, and on to the cane. Pt comes to the house 3x a week alls good so far. No pain in the hip, good rom I'm happy with the hip. Next week I see
the Dr. for my 6 week checkup, hopefully on to outside pt and driving.
All in all, the results have been terrific. My life before surgery was a living
hell wracked in very bad pain. I do feel I'm getting my life back 52yr male.
Now I can get back and have some fun with the wife and kids.
Good luck to all.

Hi, Bhrman!!! Welcome to BoneSmart! So glad you joined us. And I'm REALLY glad to hear you are getting along so well with your hip replacements. This kind of report is always comforting for those who are waiting for their surgery. I hope you can post a little more and tell us about yourself and your recovery.

Good to see you here, Bhrman and congrats for your speedy recovery. You're actually a few days ahead of me. We all are interested hearing more, so once you have played enough with the wife and kids ... best of luck to ya. Enjoy your new pain free life.

Hi, Bhrman, and welcome. So pleased for your wonderful recovery thus far.

Can you explain what your name means? Is it bilateral hip replacements or Birmingham hip resurfacing? I'm guessing the second.

Hello congrats to you.........I did it for the same reason to gt my life back with my kiddos........Good luck to you I hope you have continued success...........)
