Hi all...one month ago today I had my right TKR and 1 year ago January I had my left TKR.
My right knee has been much better than my right, but that was expected. I had 6 previous surgeries on my left, including a mosaicplasty and had a lot of scar tissue. For my left knee - My extension is straight, my flexion is around 115-120. For my right knee - my extension is almost straight...this was a darn with my left, and my flexion is 112 already. Last year I needed an MUA for my left knee, feel pretty sure I won't need that for this knee.
Knee is still warm and the skin still bothers me when I touch. Sleep is still not through the night. It was when I was taking Oxy 2x a day, but that has been over for 2 weeks now. I still take percocet every 4 when needed. The swelling is much less with this knee than my right also. In fact the surgery only took 45 minutes...doctor said it was absolute text book.
