Hello,
I am scheduled for a right total hip replacement on 12/5/18 and then six weeks later I will be having a right total knee replacement on 1/16/19. I am so ready to have my life back. Right now my hip is what is giving me the most pain. Seems as though putting off the new knee affected...
December 5th can't come soon enough!! I've had this date for surgery since the beginning of July. I won't know what to do with myself once it gets here! Right total hip replacement will be done and then six weeks later on January 16th a right total knee replacement will be done. I have high...
Thank you for sharing your story with me. Being new to the forum, I am impressed with the kindness and abundance of information that is shared. Good luck to you. Hopefully, it is worth the wait for all of us if it means being pain free and getting our lives back.
Wow....sounds like you made the right decision. I guess I shouldn't complain about waiting. I too am having a THR and six weeks later a TKR. Healthy, healing thoughts to you.
Oh my goodness! You're right, you should not feel guilty at all! Good for you.....I can't wait until I can report my positive results. Recovery pain, in my opinion, is a good pain. It means you are healing and on your way to NO PAIN! Thank you.
WOW! That's awesome. Good for you. Thank you, I may give this more careful consideration. You are right about the depression. I can cry on command! Thank you again.

I'm sure I will be extremely antsy weeks before the surgery with mixed emotions. Yes, the end is in sight for the hip and then six weeks later, the knee!!

Thank you for responding. I'm sorry you are having to wait so long as well. I have had the pain in my hip for about 4 years and it has just been getting worse over the years and now it is rapidly getting worse. Hoping being a part of this forum will help a bit. Good luck to you!
Hello, I am new to the forum. I am 50 years old and waiting for a total hip replacement as well as a total knee replacement on the same leg. I've had knee problems since I was a teen and that has led to deterioration of the hip joint as well.
My surgeon is so busy that I am not scheduled...
