Thanks everyone and sorry for the slow update. It’s been a rough 3 weeks and it’s been bloody painful (but a healing pain not the pain I had before!). So it's finally happening... my THR is booked in for the 23rd November. Not really sure how I am feeling at the moment - the biggest thing on my mind is how much I want to get sorted and prepared before the big date. @Jaycey thank you! It definitely helps to ease the nerves reading other people’s stories. It’s only through the research that me and my boyfriend have done - mostly via this site that I have realised that THR is a real option for me, at this age. I thought I’d be in pain on the NHS waiting list...- LHood13
