Hi @Mojo333 yes it is amazing isn’t it? So many nights I woke in a lot of pain for months. All good with me. My back kind of went on me a little while ago but the physio helped. I do my exercises every day and aquarobics two or three times a week. I hope alls well with you! :hugzz:
I’ve just dropped hubby at the hospital where I had rehab. I felt I should do a bit of a skip or something to show how far I’d come! I left on crutches and feeling so good now :loveshwr:
I hope everyone is having a good day.
Yes @Mojo333 you are so right! I was telling someone just the other day how I had to use a mobility scooter to do my Christmas shopping last year. I’m very grateful for my new hips and all the wonderful support I’ve had here :loveshwr:
I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas! :santa hug:
Thanks @Layla . Physio does help. I saw her again yesterday. I just have to be careful and remember I can’t always do what I want. Wishing you and all your loved ones a very Merry Christmas !
Oh thank you @LdnFizz thats lovely of you! I hope you’re doing really well :egypdance:
And thanks @Layla. :flwrysmile:I’m doing pretty well. I still see the physio monthly and do exercises for my back daily. I still can’t stand or walk long distances well but it seems that’s my back and not much...
Thanks @Mojo333 . So glad your little one is still doing okay. We made the decision and took her to the vet this morning. She was really struggling and it was time. Lots of tears here :boohoo:
Hi @Layla and @Mojo333 !! Thanks for thinking of me. I’m doing well thanks. I just have to be very careful of my back and never miss my physio exercises. And the pool definitely helps. One of my old dogs isn’t doing well so my heart is very sore. I think we’ll need to say goodbye to her soon...
Thanks @Mojo333 sorry you’re still having problems  I’m seeing the physio regularly and doing strengthening exercises. With the amount of arthritis through my back I think I just need to treat it as kindly as I can. I think aquarobics helps me too as long as I’m careful but I’ve not been...
Thank you @Layla. I’m doing well. My back continues to be a hassle but so much better with two good hips :) :-) (: That year has flown by. I’m very glad I had surgery!
Happy birthday to all our new hips! So glad you are doing so well @Welshgirl. As I was walking up some stairs today I was remembering how I was pre op and feeling very grateful!
Thanks @Mojo333 you were such a huge help to me! I don’t come on the forum very often. I feel so grateful that I had the surgery and lost the awful pain. And grateful that I can now see properly after the eye surgery. Aren’t surgeons amazing?!
I didn’t need to use an aide. No I tell a lie. I think I used a strap once very early on. It was just a slow process getting out of bed and to the bathroom. I needed to go to the toilet three times the first night I was getting up and that was not a good night. That was the only time I...
Well I was happier before I saw the eye specialist. I hadn’t realised the vision in my operated eye was much worse! So I’m not getting double vision but I could only read the two top lines of the eye chart. She said nothing has been done that should affect my vision so hoping it’s just the eye...
