Glad to hear I'm not the only one! Did you experience a tightness with it @kneeper and @Clipless ? Mine feels like it has an Ac bandage wrapped around it super tight and even just waLiking I have to really concentrating to bend my knee. It's not terrible and only hurts if I do a lot of walking...
I hope it is inflammation @Josephine; that makes more sense to me. I will continue to massage it and see what happens. Right now the cysts are bothering me more than anything. I read about an Austrailian product for Bakers Cysts with pretty good reviews called OSMO Patch; has anyone used it with...
Thanks @Josephine, great information about Bakers cysts. Saw my sergeon Monday and he thinks they will eventually reabsorb. He has only ever had to surgically address bakers cysts twice in more than 30 years apparently. Is this your experience?
Regarding the discomfort IVe been having...
Yes @Josephine, that is the location, maybe more right on the line between B and C. Thank you so much for putting my mind at ease about adhesions. Because it FEELS kind of like a glob of tendons or something glued together in a lump, that was my first fear of course. My PT was a bit disappointed...
Hi all. I haven't been around the last few weeks as things have been progressing well. I hopped on today to catch up on what's been happening with folks and read your posts. Ive missed reading every day! It got me thinking about an issue I've been worrying about and I thought to myself "duh...
@xyxex_kayn, I can really relate to the struggles you're having and the worry it's causing you. Hang in there, you are doing all the right things and it will get better. i found the pain quite manageable but the swelling was a going concern all the time. Rest assured, the swelling is normal (and...
Hi @kneeper the problem is that in my left knee in particular, the ice actually Hurts and I end up on more pain after icing. I'm not sure why that is, but it definitely doesn't work for me. I can do the right knee though and will continue to work on icing it a bit more.
Great idea @hawk2go...
Thanks for your input and suggestions Josephine. I feel as if I'm doing almost nothing in the way of Exersise but clearly it's still a lot for me new knees (5 weeks, not 9 actually). I will make the adjustments and see if that helps with the pain issues. Just to clarify what I said about...
@Josephine sorry for the delay. The last couple of days have been spent battling a depression that hit so hard and fast as to take me completely by surprised and I didn't even open up the computer . Ironically, the pain I was was referring to has dissipated! Not completely gone but improved...
Sorry @Josephine for not being more specific. The pain flares up the most when I try to do heel slides, so that is why I haven't really been doing them or only doing them part way. I can do stairs with the cane, but do have to hold that knee straighter or the pain would also flare then. It is at...
Thank you @New England Librarian and @newlybionic for your kind words. We were able to have a lovely Christmas Day, even though I was anxiously (if discretely) keeping an eye out for any little twinge of pain that might indicate she was in trouble again. She sees the rapid response team on...
I'm so sorry @PolarBear60; I hope they can get it dissolved. It seems strange that with all the advances in medicine that there isn't a way to target a clot to dissolve it. Blood clots are scary, no wonder he's miserable, the poor man. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.
Thanks for the...
OH goodness, I just wrote a long reply, flipped to another page for a second in my iPad, came back here and my whole reply had disappeared! Ugh :groan:So let's try this again"...
My heart just does a little happy dance when I sign into the forum and see all your responses to my post...
A Merry Christmas to all my bonesmart peeps! Hope the day is filled with peace and joy for each and every one of you :santa hug:
Thank you so much @Clipless and @referee54 for your thoughts and prayers. I am so glad I found this foru; just know you are all out there made me feel a lot less...
Thank you @Celle and @PolarBear60. It was so helpful just to hear other voices out there in cyber space tonight. My partner is home :). The doc did not want to discharge her but made her promise to come back if she has even a slight twinge of pain. It sounds like it was a severe angina attack...
Thank you for your thoughts and your replies. I feel like I need to write, to connect with someone out there as my parter of 15 years just left in an ambulance with heart attack symptoms. I couldn't go with them (no way to get up into the ambulance) nor am I able to drive yet, so I'm sitting...
Good morning all,
I hope today is a good one and that we can each celebrate some small (or big!) victories today. I must admit I'm feeling a bit down today because of pain and could really use a bit of encouragement and advice. I have been doing really well and pain has been very manageable for...
