    @janellej delighted for you. when I had my right hip replaced, it made that leg longer, it did settle a bit but I too used heel lifts they were great. The ones in the pic are the ones I loved as they were adjustable and didn't move especially in sandals. got them on amazon.

    Thanks for the replies, surgery was Jan 25th am doing a little physio. I did contact my surgeon who just got back to me saying only to use the walker and only 50% weight bearing. If pain continues to get worse to call and he will have an X-ray done.

    @roo28 , hi too I did permanent makeup here in ca, and I would require a letter of release from your surgeon if it was me. So definitely contact him. Depending on what state you are in the requirements are different.

    Oh my, I’m 3 weeks post surgery and I can’t imagine going back to work. I do so little at it is compared to my normal activity. I’m pooped just walking for a short time. If you can I would really push for more time off or less hours as others have said. Good luck to you, hope it all works out.
