1 year ago I was just waking up from my LTHR, and this morning I was thinking about you all as I walked downstairs - hoping every one is keeping well, staying safe, and staying well in this difficult time due to this virus. I had no problem staying at home while I was recovering from surgery...

I'm also going to get back to some core exercises and try and lose some weight! I continue...

Thanks @Layla, I'm just back from 10 days away in my little RV, with friends for 4 days and 'pleasing myself' for the rest of the days :loll:I visited the jurasic coast in Dorset in the south of the UK, an area I had never been to, and it was most enjoyable, lovely breezy sunny weather most...

Belated thanks,@ Layla, all continues to mend here. I had a busy week looking after my 13 month old grand daughter (with a cold ) last week, and am now off again in Avril the camper for a few days in the south of England. We are in for another mini-heat wave this week so I may come home 'broiled...

Good morning, I am just back from 4 days/nights in my lovely motorhome! Visited the Yorkshire Dales at Hawes and Bolton Abbey, then spent an enjoyable day at the Midlands Motorhome Show just south of Coventry. Now home and caught up with the laundry, and news from hubbie, who enjoyed the peace...

    THR Post op trapped wind

I suffered a lot with constipation (and dry skin, and dry mouth, and fatigue, and ......) for about the first 3-4 weeks post -op and this site was a godsend! The article about constipation got me using Dulcoease, which was the first thing that stopped me having awful bloating/cramps etc with the...

Hi, hippie friend, glad to hear there is a some improvement to your days if not your nights! I resort to a sleeping pill every now and then, but thankfully am sleeping better each week, and feeling less discomfort. Sending sleepy vibes from the east coast..............

June already, and all is well with me. I have recovered from my cold, seen my grandkids again as Violet had her 1st birthday on May 31st, and I am managing almost all walking without a stick, although I take one when shopping etc just for reassurance. Still got some stiffness after sitting, and...

Well, it's half term here in the UK so I had both granddaughters for the day yesterday, while mum & dad were at work - it was a very busy and enjoyable day!! I am feeling it today, with 'butt pain', so back to using my stick, sitting on an Ice pack :bored: and paracetamol; keeping occupied with...

    THR Fairydell's recovery thread

Hi @Fairydell, good to hear from you, and sorry you're still sleeping badly  I seem to go from resting and sleeping quite well, to waking hourly, without any rhyme or reason :alarm:. It doesn't seem to matter what I have done before bed, or how tired I feel - I was just the same b4 surgery...
