TKR gr82cu2 Hello new knee, it's great to see you!

Well, tomorrow is my turn! Surgery is scheduled for 11:30 am and I have to be there by 9:30 for prep. They will call to confirm the time sometime today. I like the time so I hope it doesn't change. This will be my recovery thread. I think I'll try to do what @marmora is doing and keep a...

    Will this bike work?

What do you all think about me using this bike post op, during recovery? We were driving along and someone had it sitting at the end of their drive with a FREE sign on it. We snatched it up, needless to say. I had been thinking I should think about buying one. This one works your arms too...

What did you pack in your hospital bag?

Pre surgery class. What do you learn?

My surgeon has what they call "joint" class. He said it is mandatory and that my husband also has to attend. Neither is a problem. I'm just curious what they tell/teach you. What did you learn at yours?

    How cool is this?

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/HjMCOFVLbUU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Apparently this is used at the Orthopedic hospital where I will have my surgery. I'm definitely asking them to use this. It seems like it would be so much better than stitches...

LTKR on July 29, 2014 for me :)

Hello everyone and thanks for being here. I've been lurking and reading since I found you all a few days ago. This is a wonderful resource and support group. You've already (without even knowing it, hehe) enabled me to begin a written list of questions for my surgeon so thanks for that. I'm...
