    THR I am the Storm

Great to hear about your doggy. I have a new lab puppy and it’s been more challenging than I thought it would be. He’s already 90lbs at 6 months, I must get up from the couch I work on like 50 times a day.

    THR Teeter is it safe.

Plan to redo my excersise room this weekend. I had the teeter prior to my replacement. Wondering if it's safe to use. I am 2.5 years post op.

Bilateral THR 13.5 Weeks Post Bi-Lateral THR - Can't walk on concrete

I work from home IT as well. Sitting at a desk at 90 degrees is stressing your hip flexors. I usually lay at an angle on my bed with the laptop on holder in front of me. Works great and keeps the pressure off your hips.

Thanks for the responce. Yes no hot dogging just riding fast and high speed turns. The good thing about jet skis your foot is not strapped like skis or wakenoards. The strapping and falling would make me nervous. I also ride atvs and utvs. I read the article, very detailed.

THR MoM resurfacing converted to ceramic dual mobility.

Hello, it’s been a while since I posted. The Tenex procedure proved to be a success and removed 80% of my glute/lateral pain. My hip is never 100 percent pain free but I have gotten use to it. After 3 surgeries on that right hip it will probably never be perfect. I am able to ride 50 miles a...

Hey Reno, sorry to hear about your injury. Just curious I have a replacement on my right side. Recently started hitting the mountain bike parks here in Miami. They have man made climbs nothing like out west. My fear is falling as you did on my replaced hip. Was yours just a freak fall, not sure...

Caison, do you hit heavy bags with your replaced hip? I practiced Muay Thai for 15 years, and want to get back into it. I have an anterior approach dual mobility feels very natural. Thank, Larry

No problem. I have been to hell and back with these hip surgeries. Anything I find to help others I always post. Unfortunately most surgeons are very text book after the initial surgery is done. They do not seem to think outside the box.

THR MoM resurfacing converted to ceramic dual mobility.

Hello, I thought I would give a quick update. The Tenex procedure definitely got rid of 70 to 80 percent of my residual pain in the lateral/posterior part of the hip. I still get sore but i attribute that to the muscles and tendons finally working properly. I think surgeons need to look at...
