    Thank you all. Scared, nervous but gotta be done. I start PT the week after, but I doubt it will be mucg. I have heard that walking on this antibiotic block with be limited. But I do have to take stringent care of myself and the picc line too. All prayers are very gratefully accepted.

    August 22. Two stage knee revision. Can't say I'm not scared. PT starts the week after, but I don't think it will amount to much as I've heard that walking on the antibiotic block will be quite limiting. We shall see. Good luck to us all!

    Surgery set for the 22! Had my pre op blood test, primary and cardio clearance and medically induced stress test. Really not looking forward to these upcoming surgeries, but I've no choice.

    Same thing! My knee never felt right, and all my surgeon said was PT! 2 years later I am facing 2 stage surgery for an infection and loosening. I found a Dr who does revisions. I'm due August 22 for surgery. I'm terrified.

    Going thru this august 22.....scared to death. I will also be having IV antibiotics for 6 weeks. I'm having a temporary one on the 22.....if the infection clears up I'll have a new knee replacement in October. Hope you are doing ok.

    I only saw my surgeon once at 2 weeks out. I'm at 13 weeks today. I dont really have anything to say to him. But......has anyone used meloxicam for psin relief? My right unoperated knee is a bit tender, my left new knee is still stiff and a bit swollen. Meloxicam helped before...eould it help...
