    THR 4 months groin pain

I did call office and they can see me Nov. 1. If I for some reason have an infection could I wait that long to see doctor? Should I go to an E.R. hospital before that? Or could I just wait? I can tolerate the pain until then, I just dont know if it would make a difference in waiting 2 weeks...

Thank you so much for the replies. I am going to try to be patient. I have an appointment with my original surgeon Nov. 23. There are days I feel less pain and some days such as yesterday I could barely walk. I am assuming this is normal. I do not want to sound like a whiner or baby. I am...

Still in pain, especially if I start being more active. I went to see OS and he told me that this is normal. I hate this. I feel so limited and useless. I have a 12 yr. Old son that likes to throw a football around and I can't even do that for more than 5 minutes without having to sit. I am...

sweetv, I feel what you are saying. I am going on 3 months and still have groin pain. The pain is not as bad as it was the first few weeks but I still have pain. I worry that it will never go away. It is depressing because I am 54 and used to be very active. I hope you get better as well as I.

    THR 4 months groin pain

I went to surgeon for a follow up. My surgery was actually June 14 2022. So I am a little over three months post op. I asked him if it was normal to still have groin pain and still walking with a limp. He told me it was. He did not take any image and sort of just brushed my concerns of...

    THR 4 months groin pain

This is what I am hoping for. I hope it is just a time thing. I do not mind not being able to lift my leg, it is what my therapist has me try to do. I was just wondering if there is any correlation between weak muscle/s and groin pain. Xrays do look normal. I do not know if I should try to...

    THR 4 months groin pain

Hello. I am getting close to 4 months post op. front hip replacement. I still have quite a bit of groin pain. I am doing my therapy. I only take over the counter pain relief pills. If I lay down I have a hard time lifting my leg straight up, not much strength and pain. Is there anyone...
