Hello everyone I have not posted here in a While I hope everyone is doing well. It has been fourteen months since my hip replacement. The pain has never completely gone away. But I was doing better. Recently I developed A very painful groin pain and side pain. Went to see surgeon and said more...
I did call office and they can see me Nov. 1. If I for some reason have an infection could I wait that long to see doctor? Should I go to an E.R. hospital before that? Or could I just wait? I can tolerate the pain until then, I just dont know if it would make a difference in waiting 2 weeks...
Thank you so much for the replies. I am going to try to be patient. I have an appointment with my original surgeon Nov. 23. There are days I feel less pain and some days such as yesterday I could barely walk. I am assuming this is normal. I do not want to sound like a whiner or baby. I am...
I tried to make an appointment with several other surgeons and no one will see me. They reccomend that i go back to my surgeon. i am going to see my original surgeon soonest appointment which is next month. Has anyone here experienced pain after 4 months?
Still in pain, especially if I start being more active. I went to see OS and he told me that this is normal. I hate this. I feel so limited and useless. I have a 12 yr. Old son that likes to throw a football around and I can't even do that for more than 5 minutes without having to sit. I am...
OK, no problem. So I shouldnt worry about the psoas muscle yet? If I had to see a doctor to check out the psoas muscle would it be a different type of doctor?

This is what I am hoping for. I hope it is just a time thing. I do not mind not being able to lift my leg, it is what my therapist has me try to do. I was just wondering if there is any correlation between weak muscle/s and groin pain. Xrays do look normal. I do not know if I should try to...
Hello. I am getting close to 4 months post op. front hip replacement. I still have quite a bit of groin pain. I am doing my therapy. I only take over the counter pain relief pills. If I lay down I have a hard time lifting my leg straight up, not much strength and pain. Is there anyone...
