MUA knee so stiff<<

@bland9 I use wide leg trousers, I usually get them in the leisure wear/nightwear area- I buy mine online and usually get ones that are a soft knit fabric or fleece so it doesn’t rub on my scar. I have several pairs, black, cream and for when I am feeling in the mood for a bit of frivolity tie-dye!
For yourself, there are mens tracksuit bottoms with a wider leg that are available in navy, black or grey in most retail outlets and online. I would also look into their mens leisure wear/nightwear section for soft cotton knit loose leg trousers, sometimes you can get them in a 2 pack. The navy and the black varieties look the most like regular trousers when worn.
If you think the legs of the tracksuit bottoms are still too tight for your leg then I would suggest looking at the ladies dept for wide leg pull on trousers- I am only suggesting this as an option to consider for your comfort. I know M&S currently have a variety of wide leg pull on trousers in a range of sizes, lengths, fabrics and prices- if you are buying online you can try them on in the comfort of your own home and you can consult the size charts online to ensure a good fit.
You can get mens yoga pants online in the UK on the Amazon site- there are plenty of other sites as well. I normally buy mine one size bigger and I can take the waistband in if necessary- I only do that so I get as wide a leg as possible.

If you pop into any Sports direct outlet in the UK, in the men's section, you can get tracksuit bottoms that are wide legged, they have a drawstring waist too also look online at Asos they have a good selection of mens wide legged jeans/trousers. If they are too large at the waist you can always get a seamstress to alter for you.

UPDATE -- Coming up to 3 years of my right TKR= 3 solid years of pain and the inability to bend my knee or straighten it fuly - 3 long years still on crutches, pain just after the OP is NOTHING compared to what i am experiecing right now , , and now my other TKR knee is so very painful too and my back OO, body is twisted to accommodate the new way of walking and there no news when my knee going to be looked at Well at least people are now giving up there seat to let me sit down, perhaps they can see the pain etch on my face :dubious: even at a home for the elderly they offered me a seat and cup of tea:rotfl:

I'm so sorry you are in so much pain, @bland9 .

Your left knee is probably getting sore because it's compensating for the right.

My opologies my meant to say its my RIGHT knee is getting extrremely sore, I am making an appointment with GP but here in UK at the moment getting an hospital appointment is near impossible still so having to tolorate all while we wait

Contacted my gp surgery and got a appointment with advanced physiotherapist , so going around in circles , know what they going to say before I get there is ""O dear dont think we can help," , Or perhaps they can striaghten leg out by putting there weight on my out stretch leg and crack it into postion :dubious:

I hope you are joking about putting a weight on your leg, as you know that is not the way to straighten your leg.

I‘m really sorry you’ve had so much trouble with your surgeries.

@Jockete = Yes I was being a bit sllly here but if you read futher back I HAD a physio placed me on a couch and my leg on a chair and put there hands on my knee and then pushed hard down on my knee hoping to straighten it , so yes it has happened to me -thats why I was so sarcastic about physiotherapists

Yes, I do remember that. I don’t understand how anyone in a medical position can think force like that is good when we are healing. I’m so sorry that happened to you.

Hello bland9
It is a while since I popped in here and so sorry to hear you are not still suffering..
walking leaning forward , tilting to the right, its like i got 2 inches short on one leg,
I am certainly no medical expert but this sounds slightly familiar to me. It COULD be Drop Hip, which I have. This is where the hip on the opposite side of the drop is very weak and the muscles need building up to support you correctly. With all the issues you have been going through and you are unable to exercise, this could very well be your problem causing you pain.

It has been a long and arduous journey for me but I still exercise every day and am now concentrating on my walking in the hopes of doing away with the walker and eventually the arm crutch.

Wishing you relief soon.

Seen Physio today and well well- he said he could not offer anything apart from Going to a Pain management centre, so a complete waste of my time, so got to put up with all, though he did say he was very sorry Im had to and having to put up with so much

Findiing it really difficult to lift my right leg up now, so heavy and painful, Im having now to use my hands to physically lift my leg up to position it, any advice:boohoo:

Sorry you are having so many challenges almost 3 years after your TKR.

Have you had a nerve conduction test to see if your nerves are firing?
A physical medicine (physiatrist) MD may be a better choice than a pain clinic. Some pain clinics have physical medicine MD's on staff, you might want to search for one.

Now been told having to wait up to a year just to see the pain management clinic, just ridiculous,
Leg gave away today at work and so fell down a set of stairs, now leg/back is really sore and stiff now,, so just add another level of pain that I having to endure,

@bland9
With such a long wait to see a pain specialist, you might want to take a look at Curable Health it is an online program run by pain specialists from various fields. Their Facebook page has short videos you can watch.
You can also look at the short slide presentation on RetrainPain.

Thankyou for all your kind thoughts- my knee is very painful nowadays , certainly feeling the strange feeling of the whole prosthetic in my knee , at time it feels like its going to burst out of the knee, hope that make sense, hard to explain the weird feeling I'm experiencing, , pain nowadays is at very high level , , leg is now very weak due to lack of use too so wil give away at any moment

Friday I suffered a minor stroke Arm numbness, loss of speech , etc my vision, arms slowly coming back to some normality today,, been suffering from poor circulation since having first tkr and the following DVT, so I'm sure its related, My knee replacements and the pain and so on are slowly wearing my life down,:boohoo::boohoo:

So sorry to hear you’ve had yet another setback. Prayers for your healing.
