I haven't had time to read every forum.
It's sad that patients talk about this, but doctors and therapists do not.

Well it's in an article in the Library Extension: how to estimate it and ways to improve itA friend of mine is married to a retired orthopedist, who gave me advice that literally no one has mentioned. Walking heel/toe/heel/toe.
Honey, there are no end of different types!Similar, but not quite. Mine has a flat surface, with three shorter teeth.
Not really. He drained 40cc of fluid from my knee. Is that a lot?
I'd really like to offer you some structured advice but in order to do that, I also need to ask you some questions. Are you willing for me to do that?I'm halfway through my PT, once per week for 12 weeks. Nothing overly strenuous.
Our surgeon locator database is still in its infancy. My surgeon, Dr. David Golden, is not in your database. He should be. I've had five knee operations, the first in 1978 (when I was 17). Dr. Golden performed the last two. He is not only a skilled surgeon, he is incredibly nice, with a great bedside manner. He answers all your questions without condescension. They don't get any better.
We don't make that a requirement for a surgeon to be listed on our locator. There are approximately 25,000 orthopedic surgeons in the USA. We have initially populated our Locator database with about 7,000 doctors and we're adding more as fast as we can get names, addresses and phone numbers.
Putting together a meaningful Locator tool will take some time and this rollout is just the start. During the coming year we will be adding names and hopefully getting surgeons to understand the benefit of our Locator over the other tools that are out there.
I'm glad your left PKR is goign well.BTW, my second partial replacement (on my left knee) was 19 days ago. My recovery is going much better than the surgery last year (on my right knee). It probably helps that, this time, I did not have an allergic reaction to the surgical adhesive.
