Knee Infection* Entering and exiting a tub?

I go back today and will report with new photos after this appointment. I’m sure hoping to be able to start working on ROM again. I want enjoy some of this beautiful weather before Seattle curses us with rain again.

All looked good this visit. Another appointment in 2 weeks but it sure looks like it’s closing up. Again, thank you all for the prayers and guidance! I need to contact the surgeon to see about starting some kind of rehab program. I know I’ve lost a lot of ROM.

This photo has amazing improvements. It looks like you're finally back on the road to recovery. Don't worry about your ROM. This was just a little bump in the road and it will all come once you are healed again. You can still do some gentle bends and stretches throughout the day and I'm assuming you're also doing some walking around the house every few hours. That will keep things loosened up while you're in the last stages of getting that wound closed again. You've done a great job, Steve. This was quite a challenge and this good result is the reward for your effort. :thumb:

It looks so much better! God is good...all the time! Prayer works!

Saw the surgeon today and he said it looks great. One more visit to the wound specialist this week and I believe I’ll be back on a straight line to recovery! I’m going to start with just walking and bends to see how much ROM I can get back. No pushing it. I’ve got the rest of my life. Thanks to all of you that helped and was going through this with me.

Praise God! What good news.

Hey, Steve!!! Great news. Be sure to give us at least one more photo to show how things are looking. That will be a great close to this chapter of your journey.

PS> I wish my scar was a lite as yours, considering your injury. Mine is dark and I've not had much time out to see if a bit of a tan might help... LOL!

@steverup ... I hope you see this post and know we are thinking about you now that you're a year out from your challenging fall on your knee. If you can, let us know how you're doing!

Hello all! Well its been 1 1/2 years since my second TKR with a few complications. Over all i’m getting around and can finally say I’m glad i did it. Thanks to @Jamie for probably saving my life by insisting that i get a wound specialist ASAP! Im known to be hard headed and usually don’t take advice. Sure gkad I listened this time! Well now i looking for advice on how to exit a bathtub? I cant kneel anymore as it feels like I’m trying to kneel on marbles. Any tricks or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hang in there all!
blessings, Steve
