Well....:bored: are you gonna live? We're waiting to hear...
Want to hear of your grilling plans for the weekend, please tell, Chef billy.
Hope you're feeling even better today and ready to roll into the weekend.
Wishing you a great one!

Spoiler: I'm alive!

Still felt sick this am. Went off to see my PCP, a young NP who is always very thorough. After vitals and a quick round of 20 questions, she'd ruled out all the scarier possibilities and was pretty sure it was the post-op meds. Prescribed an anti-nausea pill, and ordered chest& abdomen xrays just in case, as well as blood electrolytes. As I said, thorough. She told me to d/c other meds (I already did) and go to er if anything gets wo

Probably have lab results tomorrow, but I'm feeling better

Sure glad you're feeling better and hope it continues so you can do some grillin' this weekend. Or have more soup if necessary! :thumb:

I hope you're feeling better this morning, billy.
Glad the doc is thorough, hope the labs are all normal. With any luck just a small blip on the screen.
Enjoy the weekend!

Do normal people enjoy reading their own lab reports and x-rays? I sure do.

Yes! :yes!: Especially when they're good. It's like getting a star on a paper in school. :happydance:
Glad you're only feeling a little blah, hopefully by tomorrow the blahs have gone bye-bye
Have a good one, billy!

I love reading about everything!! X-ray reports, lab reports... as much detail as possible... & when I found Bonesmart 6 years ago it fuelled my need for info.
My twin sis hates knowing anything about her op, results...
each to their own... knowledge is power!!!!
Hope that nausea soon wears off x

My wife thinks I’m nuts for reading everything! I want more! I was actually let down when even the infectious control specialist do not have the species of Penicillium fungus that popped up in one of my tissue samples.

I mean, are we talking Bleu Cheese or moldy orange? A guy wants to know. :rotfl:

Reading good reports and lab results that bring reassurance - the best.
Getting to the point where this is no longer an issue, priceless!:tada:

Hope today is a better day!:thumb:

@59billy Sorry you have to battle nausea but glad it seems to be just your meds. Everyone is talking about your grilling finesse. Hope you and sweetie are eating well. Cheers!

Well, I had to cancel the skydiving lesson.

Took me a while to realize that the nausea was caused by heroic constipation. Not surprising after a month of narcotics and iron supplements. Took appropriate action yesterday. Still felt blah this morning, but I ate some solid food about an hour ago and it's behaving.

Lesson learned: track your BMs while on meds.

In other news, pain is basically gone. If I lie on the op side too long it gets sore, but that's about it. I took a walk yesterday to look at the blueberry bushes, then back past the chicken houses -- maybe 300 feet on uneven ground. Very comfortable and easy.

I might even do something useful today. Who knows!
