Just about eight months ago I had my LTKR and today I played volleyball for the first time with my new knee. WOW...it performed GREAT! I jumped, turned, ran and even had a few digs close to the floor. It actually felt just like my other knee. I can't wait to play again tomorrow morning. :th_yahoo:

Thanks Ron and Tim! If you told me 5 months ago I would be able to play volleyball again I would have not believed you. Yes, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

That's wonderful jersey chick. I used to play so much, both hard surface and sand I haven't played volleyball in years. Your post has me chomping at the bit to get at it again. Go out and enjoy tomorrow I'm jealous.

Thanks everyone. Played again this morning and I was a little more daring. I even dove for one and ended up on the floor. After suffering in pain for over 15 years it felt great to just go out and play and not think about my knee.

Jamie, I will try to get some pictures. I will grab one of the students watching next time I play.
