Knee Replacement & Hip Replacement
Patient Advocacy & Online Community
  1. Scheduled for release tomorrow: a major re-design of the BoneSmart.org forum.

    All the same features you're used to will still be here, but the look will be completely updated to match the rest of the website (Part 1, launched in May). But this update is not just about a new color scheme - it's about making the forum easier to use no matter what device you're on! Whether you're on a desktop computer, a laptop, a tablet or a mobile phone - the new design will adjust to fit your screen (this is called "responsive web design"), be easier to read, and easier to navigate.

    Yes, major changes like these can be a pain because they make the forum you're familiar with feel unfamiliar. But I hope you will come to appreciate all we've built into this new design. Ultimately we want to make it easier for newbies (even people who have found us yet) and all you BoneSmarties who are the heart and soul of this community. I definitely invite your feedback - good or bad - in Announcements.

    You ARE good material, Parla. Your posts have been very helpful.

    You've met the minimum of 150 total posts and you are posting frequently enough for that requirement. All that you need is to be a member for 6 months You will be elibible on August 20, 2011 assuming that you still meet the "5 posts per week" requirement during that time.

    Really. Way cool! After you today's post. Lol! Just overdid & when I thought I had learned so much. Just goes to show " never too late to learn". Funniest part was when I posted my SOS note & Sonja replied my error seemed SO obvious!
    Thanks. I think I can do the 5 posts a week easy! Back to ice, elevate, snooze !

    I had knee replacements in 2009, I greatly appreciated the help that I received from this site, but now I wish to unsubscribe. How do I do that?

    @hess:

    Hess, I'm glad that BoneSmart has helped you. You will always be a BoneSmart member and can come back online and be active any time you wish. But, at your request, I canceled the weekly notifications you were receiving about new posts. You should not receive any further messages from BoneSmart. You could have done the same by using the User Control Panel link at the top right of the page.

    Best wishes to you for an enjoyable life!!

    I would like to join, The question I have is how much knowledge do you have to have of the site or the new site. I really like. You did a very good job on the sight. I know the team work hours and days in the background to get this ups. :puppysmooze:Tashia

    Tashia, I have to apologize! We have been so busy with the forum and the changeover that we neglected to notice that you are now eligible for the BoneSmarties Club! I'm glad you would like to join and I'll take care of getting you all signed up. You will receive an email from me no later than tomorrow with some additional information.
