Thanks for the Birthday wishes, and a Happy New Year to all! Knee seems to be doing well. Still have the tight band feeling and some tenderness in the shin area. That is where the patella tendon was reattached. I have been able to return to many normal activities and have more endurance...
Just checking in. Took the PICC line out just after Thanksgiving. So far so good. Went to OS last week. Took an XRay said all looked good. Released me. I was shocked. I guess I thought I would go back each week forever. Said to expect improvement for the next year and to just keep on...
Sorry to hear about the kidney stones but happy to hear they have passed. Seems like it is always something. You are dedicated to your work! Take care and hope there are no more stones!

My IV was in bag and then 2 minute push. I've heard about the ball but had never seen one.
Wishing you the best! Keep us updated on your progress.
Hello Sonja! I've been off the forum for awhile. Has your doctor ever mentioned wiring your patella. I was in a car accident, patella was broken and wired together. Also when patella tendon was torn wired back in place. Although I am sure you are not interested in another surgery.

You know the benefit of knee replacement. Things can always happen but chances are you will be just as fortunate with the other knee. You also know what to expect. Just depends how long you want to deal with the bad knee.
Wishing you the best of luck!
