Celebrex - anyone having difficulty getting off it?

I think it depends on your comfort level. I still wear sneakers and flats but I'm hoping very soon I will be back to my heels and wedges! nothing too high but something you're comfortable with should be fine but only when you're ready.

Amazing!!! Hope you're feeling alittle better and getting all the rest you need. I must say you are so very brave to go through surgery again only four months after the first hip replacement. Hello lynlouw, I had LTHR just a little over four months ago and I'm still going through my post op blues. Family and people at work are understanding but I think this is something I have to work out all by myself and so I think if you're still experiencing the emotional roller coaster focus on...

THR Hip Replacement and bone grafting

@poppet- yes X-rays showed slight dislocation in right hip and my ortho surgeon says I need it replaced as well. I'm really scared but I know this is something I'm going to have to do sooner rather then later. My back pain is terrible and I miss my independent life. Thanks for the advice...

THR Hip Replacement and bone grafting

Poppet and Jaycey....I've only started taking alive which helps take the edge off but by 7hrs in my back feels like its ripping. I think it's because of my other hip that still needs to be replaced. It has a slight dislocation but the pain is in my groin area and getting more painful by the day...

That's amazing! I'm very happy for you. I'm hoping to return back to work in the next three weeks and I'm so nervous. That will be three months home yet I still feel like I'm so far from walking normal. I wobble so badly and with the pain in my right hip I wobble and limp. I don't want to do...

Hello MrsTatiana, welcome to Bonesmart. I'm glad you posted these issues on here as I am too looking at having my own family one day and seeing that I am nine weeks post op and facing going back to work in three weeks, I'm terrified because I'm walking with a cane but my unoperated hip is...

How long have you had your new hip(s)

Suki- thanks for the honest answer! I guess I'm just trying to see the average length of time that most people have their new hips before they have to do a revision! I'm so ready to go back to my life but I worry about my hip giving away sooner rather then later and starting this recovery...
