Mom is doing MUCH better. We went to a spine surgeon for a general follow up opinion and he said her injury is minor enough that she won't need surgery. mom's surgery was cancelled yesterday. Mom had to receive blood Platelets prior to surgery. Mom did not have enough platelets in her blood, so she needed to have a blood platelet transfusion.
