Sleeping on Side
I started sleeping on non-operated side 2 weeks or so after surgery with a pillow. The thought actually accured to me a few weeks ago that I now can sleep on both sides and roll over in the night with out any pain. I sleep 95% on operated side now and I am 5 months out. I still use a pillow but...- heidi

Baby!!!!!
Thanks for all the congrats. Its a very exciting time!!!!! I had surgery Sept 29th. So Im only 5 months out. I havent seen my OB yet or my surgeon. I was doing so good at my 6 weeks he didnt want to see me until my 6 month check up. So Im pretty sure the look on his face when he finds out will...- heidi

Baby!!!!!
Well you all wanted to know....... Im pregnant! Im only 7 weeks along. My due date is October 7th. We had only started trying the first of January, so it was all pretty fast :) We are hoping for a boy since we have a 5 yr old daughter (Ansley) already. Aleve?
I posted a question a week or so ago about having a baby. Well we have been trying for a few weeks now so I have quit taking Aleve just in case. I never relized what it did for me! I have been taking tylenol instead but it doesnt seem to help at all. So my question is ..... do any of you know...- heidi

baby?
My husband and I want to have another baby. Has anyone out there had one after hip replacment? We have a daughter thats 5 now and we dont want them to far apart but also dont want to do anything to messup my recovery. Im 28 and almost 4 months out and doing great!- heidi

Ortho Nurse Gets Right HR
Like you I am young (27) and had a THR. I am so glad to hear you didnt have much pain. It is all different for everyone. Once they found meds that worked for me I was much better. I was off all pain meds after the first week but still take some tylenol before bed and Im almost 2 months out. I...- heidi

Thanks for posting. Its always great to get feed back :) Judy- yes they did show me all kinds of exercises, I was in the hospital for 3 days and I had a great PT. I cant wait to get to the piont where I dont regret doing this :) I know the day will come. I go to the Dr in the morning to...- heidi
